Sashiko Kit (Canada)

Create your own Sashiko square! Sashiko is a Japanese embroidery technique where each stitch represents a grain of rice. This kit contains almost everything you need to make one pattern.

  • Kit includes:
    • One 8" x 8" (20.3 cm x 20.3 cm) square of muslin for pencilled lines to help you position your tracing
    • One 8" x 8" (20.3 cm x 20.3 cm) square of Indigo-dyed Sashiko fabric
    • Needle and white Sashiko thread
    • 4 traditional Sashiko patterns*
    • Instructions
  • You will also need (not included in kit): a sharp pencil, masking tape, ordinary thread for basting, and a few pins
  • Package dimensions: 11" x 8.75" (27.9 cm x 22.2 cm)

*Please note that although four patterns are available, the kit only provides one square of Indigo fabric
