Kirsty Robertson will moderate a panel that brings together artisan makers and manufacturing specialists, as well as those who are mentoring the next generation of producers. The conversation will focus on the benefits of working at different scales of production, and the opportunities for building networks that encourage local production in Ontario. Kirsty will be joined by Arounna Khounnoraj of bookhou and Marilyn McNeil-Morin of Fashion Exchange.
Dr. Kirsty Robertson is an Associate Professor in Contemporary Art and Museum Studies at Western University. Her research focuses on textiles, activism, visual culture, and changing economies.
