What if I change my mind, can I return something?
The Museum will offer an exchange or gift certificate only for items returned within 30 days from date of purchase with original receipt and original tags still attached. Please contact us to obtain a Return Authorization Number prior to shipping your return. All shipping and handling costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and are non-refundable. For your convenience and to avoid additional shipping charges, exchanges may be made in-person at the Museum Shop.
Books, ethnographic textiles, earrings, clothing, reDesign items, and discounted items are FINAL SALE and are NOT eligible for return or exchange.
What if the item I want is out of stock?
We make every effort to ensure that stock levels are accurate. Should you order something that we no longer carry, we will issue you a refund on your credit card.
What if I want to cancel my order?
The Museum begins processing orders as soon as your order is placed. Orders, once placed, cannot be cancelled.
How long will it take my order to arrive?
Unless exceptional circumstances arise, orders will be dispatched within five (5) business days. We use Canada Post to deliver our orders. Delivery time will depend on your location, as well as the shipping method you have selected.
Can I track my order?
When your order is shipped we will send you a confirmation number that will include your tracking number if applicable.
How are shipping and handling rates calculated?
Orders are shipped via Canada Post. Shipping charges are based on parcel size, weight, and destination. Shipping is subject to applicable taxes.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
We currently ship only to Canada and the United States. Please note that all International packages are subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. International shipping prices are quoted for surface mail. Depending on the size and weight of your order, we may be able to ship it for less. Please contact us to obtain a quote for other shipping options.

Do you have more products?
Due to volume, not every item in our gift shop is available online. Please feel free to visit us in person (admission to the Shop is free of charge), or contact us for more information.
